“A big thank you to Daniel and his hospitality for the Hakuba House. Thank you for making our time at the Hakuba House enjoyable and hassle free. I stayed at the 4 Bedroom house with a large group of people and the house wasn't overcrowded or uncomfortable at all. The house exceeded our expectations and confirmed everything that was written on the website. It’s such a cute house in a great area! It had all the modern amenities that were required and made our stay very comfortable and enjoyable (Loved the quilts!! So fluffy and comfortable!).
The kitchen is fully equipped for cooking and the hard drive setup full of TV shows and movies was a bonus!! Great for those quiet days at home.
The location is great, its very close to the Nakiyama ski lifts and a short walk to the Happo village, Echoland, Onsens & the various bus stops. It’s also easy to find when coming home in the dark!!
Hakuba had the most amazing snow I had ever seen! Definitely one of the best places I have skied. I can’t wait to return one day and ski on
that fresh Powder again!
I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend anyone who was thinking of visiting the area to stay in the best self-contained holiday house in best great location in Hakuba.
Thanks again Daniel, we appreciated you clearing the snow, organising our car hire and being so friendly and helpful! We will see you again one day
soon"! “

"Hakuba Holiday House was the prime location to be in Hakuba. A walk away to everything and a brilliant house you would be happy to call home (I
wish I could live there) and nice and warm for the cool nights. No better way to enjoy the waist deep powder of Hakuba than to be able to stay at
Hakuba Holiday House. Thanks to Dan for his hospitality and digging us out in the mornings, you're a champ cant wait to come back in a few years".
Cheers Mate!

'We had an amazing stay at Hakubaholiday house and loved our time in Hakuba. The Manager was extremely friendly and helpful from the moment we first contacted him about the house and throughout our stay. He has a very impressive set up and no detail has been missed from a house which was fully kitted out with a huge selection of movies, underfloor heating, grocery service and great access to the slopes....what more could you want. The house even had a nursery with a cot and toys just off the main bedroom which was perfect for our 18 month old daughter and gave us our own space which makes such a difference to your holiday. The snowboarding was awesome with very quiet lifts during the week and also the chance to do some amazing guided off-piste tours.
Thanks again for all your help....will let you know when we will be back”

“Just a quick message to say what a wonderful time we had last week. Your home was perfect for our families and everything the website
promises! We were also very lucky to experience almost perfect skiing conditions every day which made the week just magic.
So thanks for everything and we will look forward to contacting you again in the future when we next visit Hakuba!”

“First of all I would just like to thank you on behalf of all of us for helping make our stay so enjoyable with no hassles. (Hakuba Holiday’s Manager) was lovely and very helpful, and it was great to have him give us a lift to the bus stop when we left (we had a lot of stuff!) We really loved the house and it was in a great location and it was perfect for us so that we had our own space and could cook when we wanted, and watch movies etc. Also, we thought the Hakubus was a good referral and very convenient to get dropped at the door and we are going to use them again, even though they do arrive so late at night it didn't really affect us. Now, we had such a great time we all want to come back again next year if you'll have us!!!”

“Just wanted to say thank you for our lovely stay in your house. We had a fantastic holiday and got some great skiing. The snow ranged from good to awesome the whole time, and from what I hear, was probably below average conditions. Good snowfall during our time so got to experience some of the Japanese Powder. The house was great and well located to the slopes. I’ll pass your details on to anyone I know heading that way as heaps of Aussies are doing Japan these days. I’ll be in touch if we ever head up again one day. The $A getting 85 Yen at the moment so that makes it tempting.

“A group of us stayed at the Hakuba Holiday house in March 2009. It has an ideal location being only a couple of minutes walk from the lifts of the Happo-one ski area and is also only a short walk from several Japanese and western restaurants, shops and one of the best on-sen in the town. The house itself is very spacious and could easily hold our group of 8 adults, we were particularly impressed with the warmth of the house, the king sized beds and large kitchen/living area. I have lived in Japan for several years and have boarded at all of the major resorts. I would say that Hakuba is my favorite resort due to the large ski area, consistent large dumps of fresh powder through the winter months and the massive board park at Hakuba 47”

“Hakuba is a one of the great skiing and snowboarding resort in Japan. They have fresh powder snow, large board park, and nice restaurants & bars as well. Also, the house we stayed was perfect. Large kitchen & living room, king size beds and big comfortable sofa.
I would say, this is the best accomodation in Hakuba”

“The house was a great place to stay whilst enjoying the mountain slopes at Hakuba. The location is perfect, and you can practically ski to the front door at the end of the day. The house is very cozy, with large rooms, and is very quiet at night. I found the house to be warm, with a really great atmosphere. It has an oven (which is not a common thing for Japan) and a huge kitchen for which to cook. The house is also a 1 minute walk to a local onsen. All in all a great place to stay”

“I have been skiing throughout Japan for the last 2 winter seasons and highly rate the Happo-One region in Hakuba. I was part of a group who stayed at Hakuba Holiday’s house in 2009 and was very impressed with not only the modern fitout and spacious outlay, but probably the most impressive aspect is its close proximity to the Nakiyama ski lifts. Location, location, location! The house has everything you need which made for quite the comfortable experience, not to mention that after a long day attacking the slopes, it was rather enjoyable to flake out and watch some great sporting coverage provided by the IPTV system on the massive plasma screen in the main lounge room. I will definitely be re-visiting Hakuba Holiday’s great house next season.”

"What I love the most about skiing in Japan is that you can ski or board on some of the softest powder in the world on a breathtaking mountain during the day, and then jump right into a natural hot spring and soak all the chills and pain right away when you're done, and I love how Hakuba Holiday’s house is within skiing range of both of those things. I was impressed with the structure...a lot of mountain homes in Japan are built with thin walls and old bathroom facilities, but the Hakuba Holiday’s home is a modern, brick structure with brand new bathroom and kitchen appliances. We even had pizzas ready to come out of the oven when the skiers came right off the mountain and into the living room to watch the game on the big screen. I will definitely inquire about staying in the house again, and hope it's not booked out for the next time I'm in Hakuba."

“I have stayed at Hakuba Holiday’s house in the summer. I love the Japanese hot springs that are next to the house and which are my favorites. We went mountain walking when we visited and Happo mountain is just near the house. It was surprising that is such a western style home with massive kitchen that is bigger than my home in Tokyo! We will come back in the winter to enjoy the ski parks and hot springs.”

Hakuba is a really gorgeous part of Japan, especially the picturesque village of Happo-one. The Hakuba Holiday home is located less than a minute's walk from the edge of the village. We visited in September and although it was a quieter time of year to visit, there was still plenty to do and see, and we enjoyed some great weather. The home is fully equipped, spacious, spotlessly clean and provided us with a comfortable and convenient base for our two families with three young children. It also looks exactly like the photographs on this site!
