Hatsuyuki is the Japanese term to describe the first snowfall of the winter season.

This large self contained apartment is designed to showcase Hakuba's famous powder snow. With many large picture windows, it is a place where visitors to the Hakuba Valley can spend time in western comfort in a ski-in, ski-out location right on one of Hakuba's freshest snow fields - Hakuba Iwatake.

This apartment takes up the entire ground floor of the building. Each of the three bedrooms has its own fully tiled, western ensuite, hydronic in-floor heating throughout (including bathrooms), large western kitchen with marble bench tops and oven, roomy bedrooms, lovely open plan living and dining room with solid African Walnut dining tables and Italian leather sofas. Lots of space and natural light is the theme for these beautiful executive apartments.

The apartment has a beautiful light Scandinavian design feel. Netflix and WiFi are included. The apartment is fully stocked with everything you need for your snow home away from home.

There is a large ski drying room and laundry in the buildings basement.
In the summertime, there are nice outside areas to BBQ amongst nature.
There is no AC in the summer - just the natural alpine breezes.

Peak Winter Season (December 15th to March 12th): 135,000 yen per night including tax.

Shoulder Season (December 1st to December 14th and March 13th to end of April): 115,000 yen per night including tax.

August 65,000 yen per night including tax.

July and September 57,000 yen per night including tax.

All other times: 50,000 yen per night including tax.

We have fully stocked the kitchen with everything you need.

SUMMER TIME BBQ FUN
In the green season there are some lovely BBQ areas at Hatsuyuki Apartments. Dont forget that we also offer the use of our lakeside oasis where you can picnic and swim and use all of our water toys such as SUP's, canoes, jetty and pontoon.

All prices are inclusive of Japanese sales tax.

We accept payment online via credit card. There is a 4% charge. Bank transfers can also be received.

Rates are in Japanese yen per night. Prices are per apartment and there are no hidden charges accept for the 4% credit card handling charge or international intermediary bank fees.

3 bedroom apartments can sleep up to 6 people.

There are minimum nights stay requirements during the winter season. Please ask.

Prices include complimentary pick up from and drop off to either Hakuba train station or Happo bus terminal upon your arrival and departure (see ‘getting to Hakuba’ page under “Hakuba Information’ tab for the best option from Narita Airport to Hakuba). Staff are on access 24/7. We also have free outdoor parking.

All shampoo, conditioner, hand soaps, clothes washing powder, dishwashing powder and liquid, kitchen towels, toilet paper, tissues, towels, hand towels, linen, bath mats are provided.

Cleaning and linen/towel service is done between rentals or every 7 days for longer stays. When you arrive, everything is clean and fresh. Daily or more frequent cleaning/linen change during your stay is available at a nominal extra cost.

Food is not included in the price. We can provide complimentary supermarket trips for guest convenience on selected days.

The apartments are strictly non-smoking.

Standard policy: 50% deposit is required within a week of booking to confirm winter reservations. Cancellations with less than twelve weeks notice or “No Shows”, sorry no refund. Cancellations from twelve to sixteen weeks notice will require a 40% charge.
Cancellations with more than sixteens weeks will receive a full refund minus bank fees.
The balance of bookings to be paid at least 12 weeks before check in.

Upon check-in, a copy of a valid credit card will be taken for security purposes.
Terms and conditions will be outlined in the invoice and deemed agreed to once payment has been made.
